Theory of Practice
I strive to practice differently and dynamically, without dressing up in suits, and with a sense of balance. I will be most valuable to you in helping you focus on what is important. I have a life too and my free time is much more valuable to me than my billing rate would otherwise indicate. If proposed work seems to be pointless, I will try to talk you out of it. I have no interest in sending you a bill for services that you don't find to be worth it.
I am always available to speak to my clients, and I will work with you to develop your legal priorities, so we can bring the intelligence of large firm experience to smaller deals while applying the appropriate time and expense, with the joint goals of protecting your interests and getting a deal closed. Nothing aggravates me more than to see lawyers who get in the way of business getting done and common sense prevailing.
In every transaction, there is what you can legally get away with, and there is the Zen of what you can live with the next morning. With balance, we are going to get the deal done, so you can focus on what it is that you love doing best.
